Some might be superstitious about Friday the 13th, but today turned out to be a lucky day for me.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8643\/16618725100_35e8418fc0.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI took chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting to school to share with my friends at lunch. When I got home from school there was a small stack of presents waiting for me.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8694\/16619968249_018c490977.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nMy parents said I could open them right away so I sat down and got to work. Cricket was right there to help.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7623\/16619973699_a1ff900879.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe first present was a pink hoodie.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8682\/16780226066_ce42246af9.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe second box looked like a shoe box.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7281\/16183764634_d66a9e5c3f.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI tore the paper with Cricket close by to supervise.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7287\/16186169403_6fc1ed197e.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nPink puddle jumping boots!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7616\/16618735290_f2629681a4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe last box looked like it could be an American Girl doll.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7625\/16806093155_0261917828.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nAfter tearing away one corner I saw, \u201cContains one doll and one book.\u201d I had a couple of dolls on my wish list so I wasn&#8217;t sure who it would be.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7585\/16183772964_1a6375a48f.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI was excited to find Addy!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7634\/16806098615_888cb2084e.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI took her out of her box right away, I think she looks a little like me.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7282\/16183748904_601725693e.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI am so happy and thankful for all of my gifts! Lasagna dinner with ice cream cake will be the perfect way to round out my best birthday yet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is my birthday!
